Fit for success

OVERVIEW

This unique program, designed for students ages 14–17, fosters the development of healthy, active lifestyles while cultivating a deep appreciation for athletics, academics, health, and lifelong wellness.

Beyond physical activity, the program places strong emphasis on leadership development, equipping students with the confidence and skills to lead and inspire others — both on and off the field.

As part of this holistic approach, campers will have the opportunity to earn First Aid Certification, ensuring they are prepared to respond to emergencies and contribute to the safety and well-being of their peers.

Complementing the wellness and leadership focus is an intensive language component that develops advanced skills in instructional, academic, research, and business writing — a powerful advantage for students preparing to transition to post-secondary studies.

COMPONENTS

Sports and Wellness Component

At the heart of this program is a commitment to overall well-being and physical health. Students will engage in daily physical activities designed to promote healthy living and help them understand the powerful connection between good nutrition, regular exercise, and academic success.

The program’s core coached sports include Ultimate Frisbee and Flag Football. Each student will select a primary sport of focus, receiving targeted coaching to develop skills and confidence in that area, while also having opportunities to explore  other sports.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to earn a First Aid Certification, giving them valuable life skills and the confidence to respond in emergency situations.

Language component

A key component of the program is immersion in an English-speaking environment. Campers will receive daily in-class instruction conducted in English, providing ample opportunity to expand their vocabulary and enhance overall language skills. This instruction combines technical language learning with wellness-related workshops, creating a well-rounded educational experience.

Additionally, the program includes an intensive language module focused on instructional, academic, research, and business writing, designed to support students as they prepare to transition to post-secondary education. Enriched with exclusive visits and guided tours of world-class universities, offering students an inspiring glimpse into their future academic pathways

Please note: a minimum English proficiency equivalent to B1 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is required for participants in this program.

Cultural component

The vibrant attractions and rich multiculturalism of Toronto are a highlight of this program! Evenings, select afternoons, and weekends are dedicated to exploring the city’s iconic landmarks, including the CN Tower, Blue Jays games, Hockey Hall of Fame, Toronto Argonauts, Niagara Falls, Wonderland, and much more.
