The butterfly has a special place in the identity of Eli Camps.

For us, it represents growth and transformation.

A butterfly does not begin as what it eventually becomes.

Neither do we.

Growth takes experience. It takes change. It takes courage. And sometimes it requires stepping outside what is familiar and discovering something new.

That is very much what an international experience can do.

A student may arrive unsure and leave confident.

Arrive hesitant to speak and leave communicating freely.

Arrive knowing no one and leave with friends around the world.

Arrive thinking about what they are today and leave thinking about what they could become tomorrow.

That is why the butterfly belongs to Eli.

It reminds us that where you begin does not determine how far you can go.
