FAMILY PROGRAMS TORONTO

OVERVIEW

ONE FAMILY. DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES. ONE UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

Experience Toronto together — while giving every member of the family the opportunity to enjoy a program designed for them.

The Eli Camps Family Program offers families a flexible and customizable way to combine language learning, activities, cultural experiences and a summer vacation in Toronto.

During the day, children join other international students in our age-appropriate summer programs, while parents have the freedom to explore Toronto, enjoy their vacation or participate in optional English classes.

At the end of the day, the family comes back together to enjoy the city and their time in Canada.

Programs for primary, juniors and seniors

Children and teenagers participate in regular Eli Camps programming alongside other international students of similar ages.

Depending on their age, they can choose from:

Language & Culture Program – Ages 7–17
A combination of English language learning, activities, cultural experiences and excursions throughout Toronto.

Fit for Success – Ages 14–17
A program combining sports and wellness, leadership, academic English, university exposure and cultural experiences.

From Monday to Friday, children can spend the day with us from approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including lunch on campus.

They may also participate in selected evening and weekend activities available through their program.

Programs for parents.

While children are participating in their programs, parents have time to experience Toronto at their own pace.

Parents may choose to join English language classes, explore the city, work remotely, shop, visit attractions or simply enjoy some well-deserved vacation time.

English classes for parents are completely optional.

This flexibility allows parents and children to have their own experiences during the day and enjoy Toronto together as a family afterward.

ACCOMMODATION. CHOOSE WHAT WORKS FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE

Every family is different, which is why we offer several accommodation possibilities.

Depending on availability and family needs, options may include:

  • Apartment-style accommodation
  • Host family accommodation
  • Hotel accommodation
  • Your own independently arranged accommodation

Our team can help families identify the option that works best for their stay, budget and preferences.

EXPLORE TOGETHER

Every participating family can enjoy a memorable visit to Niagara Falls, one of Canada’s most spectacular destinations.

Children and teenagers can also participate in the excursions and activities included within their selected Eli Camps program.

Families looking to see even more of Canada and North America can ask us about additional customized travel and excursion options.

The result is a summer where everyone gets something different from the experience — while still experiencing Canada together as a family.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where does the Family Program take place?

The program takes place in Toronto, Canada, with children’s programming based at our University of Toronto summer campus.

2. Do parents have to take English classes?

No. English classes for parents are  optional.

Parents can choose to take classes or use their time independently while their children participate in the program.

That is one of the advantages of the Family Program — we can customize the experience around what works best for your family.

3. How long does my child spend in the program each day?

Children generally participate Monday to Friday, from approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

And there is no need to worry about packing lunch — lunch is included on campus as part of their daily program.

Depending on the program selected, children may also have opportunities to participate in organized evening and weekend activities.

4. How old does my child need to be?

The Family Program is ideally designed for families with children 7 years of age or older.

Children ages 7–17 can participate in our Language & Culture Program.

Seniors ages 14–17 may also choose our Fit for Success Program.

5. What if my child is younger than 7?

Talk to us. We understand that families come in all different shapes and sizes. If you are travelling with a child younger than seven, we will be happy to discuss your family’s needs and explore whether we can create a suitable customized arrangement.

6. Which program can my child choose?

Depending on age, children have two main options:

Language & Culture – Ages 7–17
English classes combined with activities, cultural experiences and excursions.

Fit for Success – Ages 14–17
Sports and wellness, leadership development, academic English, university exposure and cultural experiences.

Our team can help you decide which program is the best fit for your child.

7. Can we create an all-inclusive package?

Yes.

Families can build a complete package by combining program fees, accommodation, airport reception and any additional services or experiences they require.

Because every family’s needs are different, the final package and price will depend on the options selected.

Contact us and we will help you build your family’s program.

8. Can you organize trips outside Toronto?

Yes.

Additional trips can be arranged for families who would like to explore beyond Toronto.

Options may include destinations such as Montréal, Québec City, New York City and other locations, depending on dates, availability and the family’s interests.

Contact us and we will be happy to discuss possible itineraries and pricing.

Build Your Family’s Summer

There is no single way to experience Toronto as a family.

Stay for a week or stay longer. Study English or simply enjoy the city. Let the children participate in a full summer program while the adults create their own schedule.

You choose what works for your family. We help bring it together.

Learn together. Explore together. Experience Canada together.
